About the Department
When the siren sounds in Independence at 3:30 in the morning… 25 of your neighbors TURN OUT… the rest sleep safe and sound. The Independence Fire Department is a volunteer organization. Volunteers are always welcome!
Breakfast fund raiser held the 2nd Sunday from 8:00am – 11:00am of each month except July and August.
Monthly meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm.
